DRAGONFLY SUMMER 2023

Summer has arrived here in the northern hemisphere. Almost all Dragonfly Trimarans from our storage have been launched and all NEW Dragonfly Trimarans from production have been delivered and are now ready for adventures during summer.

This also means that we are now ready to close down the Yard for our summer holidays from today, 14 July till and including 6 August 2023.

Winter and Spring have been extremely busy with world wide deliveries of many new Dragonfly Trimarans and also not least all the +50 Dragonfly Trimarans our service team have taken care of over the winter, so that they would be ready for this season.

The business is growing and we have therefore welcomed several new employees, which means that our fantastic Dragonfly Team have reached +60 people.

We are also very proud to have reached Dragonfly 25 hull No 100, which is currently on its way to Brisbane in Australia. Again a new milestone in our 56 years long History.

Worth mentioning is also the 10-years-anniversary for the French ATD association on the Atlantic side of France with no less than 70 members. We feel very proud that ATD has reached this success.

Dragonfly also had a great race in this year “Round The Isle of Weight” race. In the multihull fleet Dragonfly 28 Performance won overall with Tim Yetman, Kevin Sproul and Dan Primrose. Third overall was DF 28 “ Ice Dragon” with Malcolm and Tristan Jaques and they also at the same time won the Double-handed Trophy. 12 Dragonfly´s took part in this race. Well done.

Our Try before buy concept featuring our Dragonfly 28 'Tri Me' is fully booked for the season 2022. But we have just received a cancelation for week 37, the reason is that this family has already purchased their own Dragonfly 28. So, if you would like to book 'Tri Me' in week 37 this year or a week in the 2023 season, we recommend to contact us shortly.

After our summer holidays our calendar is filled with Boat Shows around the world. Which ones we will be attending at, is mentioned further down in this Newsletter. We look very much forward to meeting all our loyal clients, friends, and of course to welcome new potential clients and friends during these boat shows.

Now it is time for a summer brake and to go sailing.

OPEN YARD - FALL 2023

On September 1st form 10 am till 4 pm we will for the second time this year open our doors to the Dragonfly Yard in Denmark.

Are you curious about how Dragonfly Trimarans are built? Then this is your chance to experience and explore the Dragonfly Yard.

The Dragonfly 28 Performance and the Dragonfly 40C Performance will be ready on the water for test sails.
