World Premiere of NEW DRAGONFLY 36

After 2.5 years development, we are proud to introduce our newest member of the DRAGONFLY Range, the DRAGONFLY 36 Performance Cruiser.

The World Premiere of the NEW DRAGONFLY 36 will be at boot Düsseldorf 2025.

The DRAGONFLY 36 is designed for comfortable cruising in the fast lane. It sets new standards in terms of comfort, performance, practicality and ease of handling - even with a short-handed crew or single-handed.

The DRAGONFLY 36 will be available in two versions, both with carbon masts. The TOURING version with self-tacking jib, and the PERFORMANCE version with an even taller rig, and larger overlapping furling headsail.

Both versions feature our wave-piercing float design. Our distinctive reverse bow is now extended to the centre hull for the first time, to create a brand-new main hull design, for safe and comfortable upright sailing, providing more buoyancy in the bow.

In addition, DRAGONFLY 36 has a fixed bowsprit for easy use of downwind sails and anchoring.

The large dual-zone cockpit has comfortable seating forward, and all control lines are led aft to four electric winches by the twin helm wheels.

Below deck, the new DRAGONFLY 36 interior design includes forward- and aft double cabins, a separate head, a modern galley and a spacious dinette to host family and friends. Standard finish is in ash wood, with elm as an option.

The unique and revolutionary DRAGONFLY SWING WING system – introduced 35 years ago – reduces the 8.12 m beam to only 3.7 m in seconds, using no tools. The DRAGONFLY 36 introduces for the first time an all-composite high-tech construction, making the DRAGONFLY SWING WING system simpler, lighter, stronger and easier to maintain.
