Dragonfly Fall 2022
Fall has arrived here at the yard in Denmark, which also means that the sailing season 2022 has come to an end, for some of us, after a great summer with lots of great sailing and relaxing moments on the water.

But even though the boats are being hauled out for the winter, a lot is still happening here at the yard in Denmark. Our winter storage is fully booked for the winter season 22/23, which also means that our service team and after sales department will be well occupied over the winter.

As for our sales and marketing team they are busy specifying new Dragonfly Trimarans together with clients, attending at boat shows and making plans for the future.

Building slots for a new Dragonfly 25 and Dragonfly 32 are both sold out until Spring 2024. If you wish to order a new Dragonfly 28 we only have two available building slots with delivery in the Fall 2023 left or if you wish to order a new Dragonfly 40 we only have one available building slot left with delivery in the Fall 2023.
Dragonfly in the USA
One thing we have worked on for a while now is the increasing interest in Dragonfly Trimarans from the US market. We are very happy and proud to see this development and would now like to introduce our new Dragonfly US setup.

To take best possible care of our owners and new buyers and to keep up the good Danish quality and service, we have expanded our organization with a US colleague who will be responsible for sales and service in the USA.

Therefore, please welcome our newest member of Team Dragonfly, Nicholas Andrew Steenberg.
Nicholas was sailing on a Dragonfly before he was a year old. His mother, Joanne, with the help of his father Carsten, was the first to establish a Dragonfly distributorship in the United States in 1990. Born in the USA to an American Mother and Danish Father, Nicholas is a citizen of both countries. Nick was raised and went to primary and secondary school in the state of Maine, but finished off his education with a bachelor degree in engineering from the University of Southern Denmark.

Nicholas has spent his entire life in and around sailboats, having started sailing at 7 years old himself. He entered the working world after as a sales representative at Tesla Motors in New York, before he transitioned to a full-time career in sailing education management. Nicholas has over 11 years of experience teaching sailing and running sailing programs, as well as coaching sailing teams at the high school and college level in the US. He has worked with sailing vessels of all sizes and types, from 420 dinghies to managing 40 foot keelboats, and is a certified Level 3 US Sailing and Powerboating Instructor. Having owned a couple of sailboats over the years, including his Pearson 10-Meter "Vandre", Nicholas has a few thousand miles of offshore sailing experience. Nicholas is a passionate Dragonfly aficionado and is excited to expand our brand and service in the US.

With this new US setup Quorning Boats and Nicholas will be able to provide an even better and more professional service to potential clients and existing Dragonfly owners in USA.
Tri Me season 2023
Tri Me is a Dragonfly 28 Touring that is owned by the Dragonfly yard to give people a chance to try Dragonfly sailing together with family or friends.

Former Dragonfly Tri Me guests have been taken away by this new experience. Some of them have emphasized, how truly surprised they were when realising the clever solutions down below - making holiday sailing possible even for a family of 5 - not having to downsize at all.

Tri Me can be booked on a weekly basis only, from Tuesday till Monday in the period from 1 May till 30 September 2023.

If you dream of sailing a Dragonfly, this is the perfect opportunity to try it out!
But don't wait to long, as the first weeks has already been booked.

If you want further information and/or to book a week in the upcoming 2023 season, please click the button below to send us an email.
